Academic Advising Activities for Course Registration for Students Enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Programs
The Faculty of Pharmacy has commenced course registration, adding, and dropping activities for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. – Clinical Pharmacy) programs for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
In this regard, an integrated academic advising unit has been established, comprising a distinguished group of faculty members, with the aim of guiding students and assisting them in selecting courses in accordance with their academic plans. One academic advisor has been assigned to every 15 students to ensure effective follow-up and quality academic guidance.
The Faculty has also established a dedicated follow-up unit for students experiencing academic difficulties, assigning one academic advisor to every five students. Individual meetings were held to discuss the reasons for their academic difficulties and develop practical mechanisms to support them and improve their academic performance. Each student was also provided with a “Follow-Up Card” to monitor improvements in academic performance and their commitment throughout the semester.
Course registration, adding, and dropping activities are scheduled to continue until the end of next week.
In addition, communication groups have been created on WhatsApp for academic advisors and their students to strengthen communication channels and ensure continuous follow-up regarding attendance, periodic assessments, and the progress of the educational process during the current semester.
