Faculty of Pharmacy Holds Welcome Ceremony for New Students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Beni Suef University organized a welcome ceremony for new students for the 2026/2027 academic year on Monday, September 28, 2026, in a festive and distinguished atmosphere.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty; the Vice Deans; faculty members; and coordinators of the various academic programs.
The ceremony also witnessed the distinguished presence of the Faculty’s partners and representatives of the labor market, including Dr. Doaa Ramadan, Director of the Egyptian Drug Authority’s Beni Suef Branch, as well as representatives of leading pharmaceutical companies and institutions, including Dar Al-Sayadela, Inova, and L&A Academy.
Highlights of the Ceremony
Opening and Motivational Speeches
The ceremony featured welcoming and motivational speeches delivered by the President of the University, the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the coordinators of the academic programs.
Introduction to Academic Programs
The academic program coordinators provided detailed explanations of the study systems and academic programs available at the Faculty, guiding students as they began their university journey.
Psychological Support and Academic Guidance
Prof. Dr. Amira Hosny, Director of the Faculty’s Psychological Support Unit, delivered a speech introducing the unit’s vital role in providing psychological and academic support to students throughout their studies.
Sharing Experience and Success Stories
Dr. Youstina Gamal, a graduate of the Clinical Pharmacy Program, delivered an inspiring speech about career opportunities for clinical pharmacists and prospects in the labor market. The ceremony also featured a speech by Dr. Serag Bahaa, an intern pharmacist.
Encouraging Student Participation in Activities
The ceremony highlighted the importance of encouraging students to participate in student activities. Nagwa Mohamed, representing the Faculty’s Student Union, also delivered a speech welcoming the new students and encouraging them to participate positively in various activities.
Honoring Outstanding Students
The event concluded with honoring outstanding students and distributing awards to top-performing students, those who excelled in student activities, and students who had completed training at various pharmaceutical companies, in recognition of their achievements and to encourage them to continue striving for excellence.
The ceremony also included presentations showcasing the activities and events organized by the Faculty during the previous academic year. Members of the “Students for Egypt” Student Family distributed gifts and brochures to the new students amid an atmosphere of joy and warm welcome.
