“From Education to Sustainable Learning”
As part of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Beni Suef University’s commitment to equipping students with labor market skills and applying theoretical knowledge in practical contexts, and under the patronage of Professor Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and Professor Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Adel Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Samih Fikry, Course Professor, and Associate Professor Abeer Abdel Hakim El-Maidomy, course instructor, and with the participation of the teaching assistants Dr. Heba Allah Mohamed, Dr. Shorouq Mohamed Beshir, and Dr. Sarah Gomaa Oweis, first- and second-year students carried out interactive educational activities.
The activities included distinguished student presentations in the form of botanical samples, covering a variety of topics related to the courses Medicinal Plants and Pharmacognosy II, presented in a simplified and innovative manner that reflects students’ ability to understand scientific concepts and apply them practically.
The activities also included several educational components aimed at enhancing interactive learning skills. The presentations were distinguished by scientific accuracy, innovative design, and the development of students’ presentation and discussion skills.
The event witnessed notable student engagement and interaction, contributing to the creation of a stimulating educational environment that encourages creativity and knowledge exchange, in line with the university’s commitment to improving the educational process and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
One of the key outcomes of these activities was training students in the practical use of artificial intelligence, while developing their skills from plant identification stages to the marketing stage as a promotional product, thereby bridging academic learning with industrial application.
