Environmental Assessment of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Beni Suef University within the University-Wide Environmental Measurement Initiative

Under the patronage and guidance of Professor Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and Professor Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Shahira Fawzy El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Professor Eglal Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mr. Hany Nazmy, Faculty Director, and with the participation of the specialized team from the Faculty of Earth Sciences assigned to carry out environmental measurement activities, the environmental assessment of the Faculty of Pharmacy was conducted as part of the university-wide environmental measurement system.
This initiative comes within Beni Suef University’s efforts to improve and develop the educational environment and achieve quality and sustainability standards.
The assessment included measuring several environmental indicators within the faculty, including temperature, lighting, ventilation, levels of pollutants, and their compliance with approved environmental standards, contributing to the provision of a healthy and safe learning environment for students, faculty members, and staff.
The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Moamen Lotfy, Director of the Faculty Crisis and Disaster Unit, and Mr. Hany Nazmy, Faculty Director.
At the end of the visit, Professor Shahira Fawzy El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, extended her sincere appreciation to the University President, the Vice President, and the environmental measurement team from the Faculty of Earth Sciences for their valuable efforts in supporting and developing the university environment, which positively reflects on the quality of the educational process within the faculty.
