Planting 50 seedlings of the chamomile (*Matricaria chamomilla*) plant as part of the University’s participation in the fourth edition of the Medical and Aromatic Plants Festival held in Beni Suef Governorate.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University,
and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,
Prof. Dr. Shahira Al-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy,
Prof. Dr. Iglal Abdel-Hamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Moamen Lotfy, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Unit at the Faculty, and in line with the Faculty’s vision and its pursuit of a sustainable future, affirming our commitment to protecting the environment and supporting eco-friendly practices,
50 seedlings of the aromatic medicinal plant *Matricaria chamomilla* (German chamomile) were planted. This comes as part of the University’s participation in the fourth edition of the Medical and Aromatic Plants Festival held in Beni Suef Governorate — the Tourist Walkway — from October 18–19, 2025, with the participation of “Students for Egypt” Union at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
