New Student Reception for the Academic Year 2025/2026

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister, Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University,

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, General Coordinator of Activities at Beni Suef University,

And implemented by the Students for Egypt Union at the Faculty, headed by student Serag Bahaa.

Yesterday, the reception ceremony for new students for the academic year 2025/2026 was held, which was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, amid an atmosphere filled with joy and distinction.

The ceremony began with a welcoming speech from the Dean of the College, the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the academic program coordinators, the General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family, the College Activities Coordinator, and the President of the Student Union. The speeches explained the various academic programs and expressed their happiness at the arrival of a new batch of pharmacy students, wishing them success in their academic endeavors.

The ceremony included a recitation of  the Holy Quran and a number of entertaining segments that added a special atmosphere to the day, amidst student interaction and enthusiasm. The ceremony also addressed an important societal issue: combating violence against women, delivered by Dr. Jumana Ramadan, Deputy Director of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at the university.

The ceremony also addressed the role of the Student Union and the activities and assistance it provides to all students, with a discussion by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family.

In addition to honoring a group of distinguished students in the college, the honor included:

Top achievers in the PharmD and Clinical PharmD programs at all levels.

• Quran memorizers.

• Students who excel in various student activities and students participating in extracurricular activities at the university.

• Winners of competitions held throughout the past year

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this special day, from professors, students, and organizers, who ensured that the ceremony came out in a manner befitting the Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef University.

Finally, we wish all our students a successful academic year, filled with knowledge, success, and achievement.
